Broker Quick Start

Email and text. A personal connection.

The broker makes both a three-way email introduction and a three-way text-message introduction. A live telephone handoff is encouraged when practical.

What You Do

  1. Identify an appropriate restaurant owner or decision-maker.
  2. Ask permission to introduce PlatePrep by email and group text.
  3. Send a three-way email connecting the restaurant owner and PlatePrep.
  4. Send a separate three-way group text connecting the restaurant owner and PlatePrep.
  5. When practical, arrange a live telephone handoff.
  6. Help secure the initial demonstration.
  7. If the owner indicates they want to proceed but becomes difficult to reach, provide a reasonable relationship follow-up when requested by PlatePrep.
  8. Check in with the restaurant approximately 30–60 days after it goes live.
  9. Send relevant feedback or concerns to PlatePrep.

Why both introductions matter

Email provides the complete picture: the PlatePrep explanation, website links, contact information, and a written record of the referral.

Group text creates the personal connection: it brings the same parties together immediately and makes communication and demonstration scheduling easier.

A live handoff adds a personal start: connect everyone by phone when you are with the owner or can conveniently arrange it.

What PlatePrep Does

PlatePrep confirms receipt and referral attribution in writing and separately confirms referral eligibility. Our team takes responsibility for scheduling and conducting the demonstration. You remain available for the defined post-demonstration and 30–60 day relationship follow-ups.

What counts as a complete introduction?

A complete broker introduction normally includes both a permission-based three-way email and a three-way group text connecting PlatePrep with the restaurant owner or decision-maker. PlatePrep must separately confirm referral eligibility and attribution.

Submitting a form, name or contact record alone does not automatically create an approved or commission-eligible referral. Compensation remains subject to your signed agreement and its Qualified Referral requirements.

Make the introduction.

Get permission first, replace the bracketed details, and include the owner and Buddy in both conversations. Email Buddy at chef@plateprep.com; add 201-206-8442 to the group text. Include your brokerage and broker ID in your email signature, and share your client referral link. Apply and get your ID; your application remains pending review until PlatePrep confirms acceptance.

Copyable Three-Way Email

Copyable Three-Way Group Text

The text link opens a message to Buddy only. Add the restaurant owner as a recipient before sending to create the required three-way group text. Nothing is sent automatically.
