These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of plateprep.com, plateprepdemo.com, and the PlatePrep platform ("Services"), operated by Coastal Hospitality LLC d/b/a PlatePrep AI ("PlatePrep," "we," "our"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use PlatePrep
You must be 18 or older and legally authorized to act on behalf of your restaurant or business. Founder's 50 pricing is offered to the first fifty independently-owned restaurants who sign; standard pricing applies thereafter.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account by emailing chef@plateprep.com.
3. Pricing and billing
- Founder's 50 Core plan — two hundred and ninety-nine dollars per month, locked for the life of the account, for the first fifty operators.
- Standard Core plan — four hundred and ninety-nine dollars per month after the Founder's 50 cohort closes.
- Upsell modules (Auto Pilot, Inventory, extra users/recipes/locations, custom integrations) are billed separately.
- Fees are billed monthly in advance. Non-payment may result in service suspension.
4. SMS communications
When you opt in to SMS communications on our contact form or by texting a PlatePrep keyword, you agree to receive text messages as described in our Privacy Policy. Message frequency will vary. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Services to violate any law; (b) resell or sublicense the platform without our written permission; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the operation of the platform; (d) upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorized access; (e) use the Services in a way that harms other users.
6. Your data and content
You own your restaurant's recipes, order guides, staff data, and other content you upload ("Customer Data"). You grant PlatePrep a limited license to store and process Customer Data to operate the Services for you. We will not sell Customer Data. You may export your Customer Data at any time by emailing us.
7. Intellectual property
All PlatePrep software, branding, content, and documentation are owned by Coastal Hospitality LLC and protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from PlatePrep materials without written permission.
8. Service availability
We work to keep the Services running 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance and unforeseen outages may occur.
9. Warranties and disclaimers
The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PlatePrep does not warrant that the Services will meet all of your requirements or that they will be error-free. Cost, yield, and pricing calculations produced by the platform are estimates and should be verified against your own accounting.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlatePrep's total liability arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to PlatePrep in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. PlatePrep is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
11. Termination
You may cancel your PlatePrep account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or non-payment.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought in the courts located in Sarasota County, Florida.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date will reflect the latest version. Material changes will be communicated to active account holders by email.
